- Manlius Historical Society Celebrates 25th AnniversaryManlius Historical Society will celebrate its 25 th anniversary on October 31, 2026, of its becoming incorporated in 2001. To celebrate it, we will hold two special events: a raffle drawing and an art show on Saturday, August 1, 2026, during Manlius Days. We will have the museum open from 10-3. Manlius Historical Society will have a raffle drawing at noon under the tent, where we will announce the winners: 1st Prize $500.00; 2 nd Prize $250.00; 3 rd prize $100.00. You need not be present to win! Tickets are $20.00 per person and can be purchased at Peoples National Bank of Manlius, Deb Cushman, 815 716 0956 or Barb Bolin 815 878 3975 or at the First State Bank of Manlius and Museum on most Saturdays in July from 10-2 (except July 4 th) and August 1 st. Proceeds to be used for the continued maintenance of The First State Bank of Manlius.. Thanks to Thrivent Financial and all our supporters! The art show will feature several pieces of art by local artists located throughout the first floor, with the majority being on the second-floor museum and others in our tent, weather permitting. The first- and second-floor artworks will be on display Friday, July 31 st from 11- 2 and every Saturday in August from 10-2. Featured artists are Carol and Stan Gingrich, Doug Schuneman, Elaine Hewitt, Helena and Genevieve Dabler, Sarah Fox, Gracey Dale, Peggy Robinson, Bob Andersen, Betty May (John) Miller, Norma Emerson, John Hamilton, etc. Items will include beautiful watercolor and acrylic paintings, pottery, and woodworking items, etc. We do have a chair lift to the second floor. COME VISIT OUR HISTORIC FIRST STATE BANK BUILDING OF MANLIUS AND MUSEUM AND OUR SPECIAL DISPLAYS! HELP US CELEBRATE WHAT WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED WITH YOUR HELP FROM 2001-2026!
